I am quite aware of the fact that fries are supposed to be made from potatoes (Hence the real name: Pommes Frites -- Fried Potatoes in French). However, it is rare to find "fries" that actually seem to have been made from potatoes (sans In-n-Out). Just thought I'd share my joyful discovery... Sorry for the confusion.

So in Idaho tater tots are called fries?
But ... you do realize that all fries are made from potatoes ... just not always in tater tot form.
