Idaho Falls Temple

We went to do some work in the Idaho Falls temple for the first time this past Saturday. It was a nice break from school and work. Sorely needed was the spiritual upliftment we found also. We can't wait for the Rexburg temple to open in another year or less.

Sea World

The weekend before we left for Rexburg, we went to Sea World with Bob, Mom, Belinda, and Jerry. Pictures here.

It snowed today...

Yesterday was a beautiful and warm spring day. Today has been a chilly, snowy, winter day. Not fair. But, on the more positive side, some guy called me and gave me a job helping the University faculty with computer issues. I am no longer an unemployed bum!

Apartment Video

So we are now almost moved in. It's a great relief since we felt like we needed to have a garage sale. We had some fun at the I-Night extravaganza (BYU-I thing) rock climbing, riding the "Orbiter", watching a Improv show, doing some jousting, and the bungee run. Anyway, we also filmed our apartment to let you all know how it looks so far. We have yet to hang pictures, etc. Click here.

FINALLY HERE...

So we have now been in Rexburg for two whole days. We are still unpacking (NEVER move from a house to a small two-bedroom apartment!) The weather is nice and we have already taken care of most of the school preparations as well as attending Christy's friend's wedding in Idaho Falls.

Here are some more pictures from the trip: http://picasaweb.google.com/glenn.brownlee/RexburgMove

Sigh

Having replaced a tire, a distributor, air filter, spark plug wires, vacuum hose, some bolts, and the air box, we thought Christy's car would be ready for the trek to Rexburg. However, we are currently stranded at the Schramm-grandparents' since the water pump seized and broke the serpentine belt. we spent all day today replacing the water pump only to find that for some unknown reason, it won't start. it appears we might not get to our new home until tomorrow at the earliest - with or without Christy's car. Sigh...
