I Heart St. Anthony

Ah, St. Anthony, it's a beautiful place. Today was the annual Fishermen's Breakfast. This apparently is a huge southeastern Idaho event hosted by St. Anthony to celebrate the opening of fishing season. Whoever goes gets a free breakfast, and apparently people will line up early (like Black Friday early) to be the first in line. (???) Where did we move? But, alas, I actually really like St. Anthony. It reminds me of Bishop, CA. I guess I'll have to love it since I'll be traveling there every day to do my student teaching. Yes, you read that correctly, I FINALLY got my student teaching placement! I believe I'll be teaching 7th grade Geography and 8th Grade U.S. History. Here's a few more pictures from the Internet.

Today is the Norwegian constitution day and I am in class rather than parading in the streets with flags and music... But to all Norwegians: Gratulere med dagen!

Blast

They have lately been doing construction on campus to add to one building and to build another. This afternoon they blew up a strip of dirt/stone along the building I was in. Being me, I had a multimedia/communications device with me and took this video of what I saw from the third story. (Please excuse the poor quality...)

Afternoon Drive

We took a drive this afternoon to Mesa Falls. It is an amazing water fall about 30 miles north of Rexburg. I had no idea there was this kind of nature this close.
