I had forgotten to post some pictures from around Christmas time so they are below. Also, as mentioned by Christy above (if you made it to the end of her post...), we went to the Zoo yesterday.

First of all, zoo pictures: totally awesome! You got some really, really great shots there!
Second of all, short canyon!! That's right up the road from my mom's place. She just lives on the other side of the highway off Brown Road. Anyway, I used to go up there when I was a kid and the water would run all the way down and across the dirt road a couple of times. It's been years since I've even seen it down at the bottom where you guys were hangin out. Such a shame. There even used to be a big pond way back in the hills about a day's hike in. I bet that's not there anymore either. If I'm able to make a stop in CA on my way to Virginia this spring I'll be taking the kids camping up there!
