A Good Couple of Days

I've had a couple really good days. First, we got Glenn's tooth fixed (the filling came off) for a quarter of the price that we thought it would be. Sweet! Then, I put on another pair of pre-pregnancy jeans and they fit! Double Sweet! Finally, I made a connection that just because Nico doesn't digest cow's milk very well doesn't mean I can't have cereal in the mornings. I just bought soy milk. We'll have to see how that one goes, but I think he may have been a little less fussy today than other days.

Our Conversation Five Minutes Ago

Nico: Crying
Glenn: (picks up Nico, crying stops for a few seconds, then it starts again). Wow. Feel his feet. He's all sweaty!
Christy: ummm
Glenn: Agh!!! Eww!!! He peed on me! (runs with Nico to the bathroom)
Christy: I thought his foot felt wet, not sweaty...
Nico: Smiles...

Some late pictures and the Zoo

I had forgotten to post some pictures from around Christmas time so they are below. Also, as mentioned by Christy above (if you made it to the end of her post...), we went to the Zoo yesterday.

More On Our Little Guy

Well, our little man has learned how to make noise. He can now cry loudly, but also make cute little cooing noises. However, he's still a pretty good baby. Lately I have called him our "Little Houdini" because he can wiggle out of his clothes while he's asleep. I had him in a pajama top and he managed to take it almost all the way off twice in the same night. Another night he managed to kick his pants off twice, and the third time he woke up, I found him with both legs in the same pant leg. How the heck did he manage that?

I am predicting that Nicolas will have to stay busy in school with extra work or else he will be a trouble maker. It seems like already he's bored with just laying down all the time so he's working on sitting up and creeping. The other night Glenn put just a little pressure on Nico's feet, and he crept across the length of the blanket multiple times. It was amazing!

Also, he's finally outgrown some of his clothes. It's so hard for me because he has so many cute clothes that it feels wrong to not have him wear them anymore. I guess I can only hope for another boy someday so that the clothes will be put to use once more...Also, sadly, he's starting to outgrow his carrycot (AKA his bed while we are on the internship). We've been using the stroller as his bed since it meets the purpose and is a lot smaller than a crib ( a) because we don't have room to move it and b) because we don't want to buy a crib for 3 months' use. ) The carrycot will be fine for at least another month, but there's no room for him to wiggle around, which he loves to do. Any suggestions for a make-shift bed that is relatively cheap, and super small?

Changing the subject, we went to the zoo yesterday and it was pretty fun. I saw a Hippo! That was my favorite part. I'm sure we will have pictures to follow soon...

Baby, San Antonio, and Baby.

Some people have wondered how things are in San Antonio (where we have just moved for my internship until April) but most people just want to hear about Nico. Thus, we have some pictures to satisfy both needs (mostly the Nico one...)

The weather here is great (around 75 today). The people are pretty nice and we're getting more and more used to it.

Nico is doing fine as well though he struggles with the big-city life and has a hard time dealing with the women (relief society is rough).
