Now, this is a meal.

We were introduced to Central Market downtown and found my three
favorite cheeses: brunost, nøkkelost, and Jarlsberg. Yum! (of course
some nutella to wash it all down. )

Texan wilderness hike

We stumbled upon Friedrich Wilderness Park one afternoon and found that it had some really nice hiking trails. Several miles worth actually. It was a sorely needed excursion. Pictures at the link below.

Fine... Just one more.

One more of Nico's lengthy speeches. (This one ends in some vomit, though.)

Shots and Golf-ball-sized Hail

We've had an exciting couple of days. Yesterday Nico got his 2-month immunizations. It was so sad to see him hurt and cry. He was fevered and a little fussy yesterday, but today he seems fine.

Last night we were watching TV when we heard a loud cracking noise. It turned out to be a thunderstorm with golf-ball-sized hail. (Excuse the grammar if it's incorrect.) It was crazy! We were super worried about our car and the windows (since there's no covered parking) but it seems to be ok. Except for the worrying about our car, it was pretty cool to watch!

Today I am bored. It's the first day in a while that my friends and I haven't come up with some crazy adventure to go on, so now staying at home is rather dull compared to the tons of fun we've had. Nico's a little bored too, I think. He's loved going to places and experiencing new things. I suppose he'll have to get used to our little walk to take the dirty diapers to the dumpster and checking the mail. I'll let Glenn post about our cool excursion from last Saturday.

The Dreaded Day Arrived...

It happened. I knew it would, I just didn't want it to come. Our son discovered his hands, and that he can put his hands in his mouth. We tried to stop it but yesterday was the day. He realized that his thumb fits nicely in his mouth. Each time I've seen it I've pulled it out. I hope this isn't a new habit...
